Export Services

Export coordination with the details agreed in advance.

Coordinate the vehicle, the documents and the delivery arrangements through one agreed process. We help align the supplier, exporter, inspection provider and logistics contacts around your purchase requirements.

Who does what

One agreed process. Every task with a named provider.

Inspections, shipping, customs procedures and similar work are performed by the providers selected for the transaction. We coordinate the agreed scope between them and keep the records aligned with your purchase requirements.

  1. Supplier or seller

Supplies the vehicles to the agreed specification.

  2. Exporter

Exports under the applicable licence or qualification and issues the export documents.

  3. Inspection provider

Carries out the agreed inspection scope and reports the findings.

  4. Carrier or forwarder

Accepts the booking, moves the vehicles and issues the transport document.

  5. Importer or customs representative

Handles the arrival procedures at the destination.

The agreed scope, the milestones and the document handover between the parties.

The actual parties are named for each transaction.

Four stages

Each stage confirmed before the next one starts.

The export is planned together with the purchase, not after it. At every stage it is clear who is responsible and which records need to be agreed.

  1. Before purchase

Establish the intended destination and supply route; clarify the parties responsible for vehicle eligibility, permissions and import arrangements.

An inspection scope agreed before it is commissioned.

Inspection arrangements can be included in the procurement scope. The provider, the checks, the reporting and the process for resolving issues are agreed before the inspection is commissioned.

LimitsAn inspection records what a named provider checked, at a point in time, against the agreed scope. It is not regulatory approval and does not guarantee the absence of all defects.

KI · Export documentsChecklist

Documents depend on the vehicle and route.

Template — confirmed per route

A checklist for a shipment can include:

  • Commercial invoiceUsually from: Seller or exporter
  • Vehicle / VIN scheduleUsually from: Exporter
  • Applicable export documentsUsually from: Exporter
  • Transport documentUsually from: Carrier or forwarder
  • Inspection recordUsually from: Inspection provider
  • Certificates required for the destinationUsually from: Confirmed with the importer

Not every shipment needs, or receives, the same certificates. The list is confirmed with the exporter, the carrier and the importer or customs representative for each route.

Electric & hybrid vehicles

Electric and hybrid vehicles need route-specific confirmation.

Battery-powered vehicles add requirements that depend on the vehicle, the market and the carrier. We raise them early, so they are confirmed before purchase and before the booking.

Charging compatibility
Connector type and charging protocol are checked against the charging you will use. Nominal connector compatibility does not ensure charging performance, and we do not offer a universal charger-adapter solution.
Battery and shipping documentation
The battery documents that the carrier and the destination require are identified for the vehicle and the booking.
Software and connectivity
Infotainment, connected services and language settings can depend on the market specification. They are confirmed for your destination.
Carrier acceptance
Shipping conditions, including any state-of-charge requirement, are set by the carrier for the route, the vehicle and the booking. No single charge level applies to every shipment.
Warranty applicability
Vehicle and battery warranty coverage is confirmed in writing for the destination and the intended use.
KI · Route noteCanada

Canada is a distinct route.

Canadian supply requires a review of the vehicle specification and applicable import arrangements. We will assess the route before presenting a supply proposal.

Availability in China does not by itself establish Canadian road-use eligibility. The applicable import arrangements can depend on whether an OEM or authorized Canadian importer is involved.

Our quote form asks about this, and “Not sure” is an acceptable answer. Any importer appointment or permit is identified for the specific transaction; nothing on this website indicates such an appointment.

Delivery basis

Incoterms define delivery. They do not settle payment or title.

Every quotation needs an agreed delivery basis, a named place or port and a clear allocation of costs and risks. Incoterms® rules clarify those delivery responsibilities; the contract still needs separate provisions for payment, transfer of title, specification and remedies.

Clarified by the agreed Incoterm

  • Delivery tasks of seller and buyer
  • Which costs each side bears
  • Where risk passes: the named place or port

Agreed separately in the contract

  • Payment terms
  • Transfer of title (ownership)
  • Specification
  • Remedies

NoteA price to an export port is not an all-inclusive price for a vehicle registered and ready for the road.

Tell us about the export requirement.

Share the vehicles, quantity, destination and where the supplier’s delivery responsibility should end. We will review the route and identify what needs to be confirmed. An enquiry does not reserve vehicles or create an order.
